Hawkeye Ridge Outfitters is owned and operated by Mike and Christina Nienhuis. Living in Northeast Iowa, they are privlidged to be in the top record book county in Iowa. Christina was born in northeast Iowa and her family owns much of the land used by Hawkeye Ridge Outfitters for deer hunting.

Mike was a duck hunting guide for a few years at Fish Point Lodge in the thumb area of Michigan.  He enjoyed the guide business but wanted to do it on his own.  Mike has hunted deer for over 25 years and once he saw the awesome hunting that Iowa had to offer he decided to focus on guiding for these Iowa whitetails.
